Ignacio Castillejo
Student in Madrid, España
I am a student of Business Administration in English at University Carlos III of Madrid.
I have been an exchange student during a year in high school (Florida) and a year in college (Colorado), my short run objective is obtaining experience in international business and I am looking forward to manage my own company in the future.
Since I was little I have lived observing how my parents managed their company and have been breathing in an environment in which innovation was a common topic of dinner conversations. That is why I decided to study BA so that I keep the way I want to follow.
As I want to know how a business is ran I have worked in the Sales and Marketing department of two different companies in which I learned skills in this field and understood how a company is raised from zero. But lately I have been more focused in data analysis. It is something I found a few months ago and it matches a lot with my way of thinking. Since I like analyzing and observing situations in order to discover uncertainties and be aware of any possible bias, data analysis is a perfect tool I am getting to know in order to put in practice my new passion.
Eventually, I have also been quite interested about topicality in order to know how the world works. I usually read 'The Economist', prestigious Twitter accounts and Spanish newspapers.
