I hold a PhD in Communication Sciences from Pompeu Fabra University, where my thesis was awarded with Cum Laude honors.
As a doctoral researcher, I was affiliated with the DigiDoc (Digital Documentation and Interactive Communication) and GRECC (Scientific Communication) research groups. As a lecturer in this program, I taught the following courses: Integrated Journalism, Journalistic Design, and Mass Media and Geopolitics. Currently, I am professor in Risk Communication for the Master of Arts in Communication Management program offered by the Barcelona School of Management.
I have participated in two research projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation: COMCRISIS (Crisis and Emergency Communication on Social Media) and CUVICOM (Curation, Visualization, and Visibility of Digital Communication). I also participated in the Odi en Xarxa (Critical Analysis of Hate Speech Against Women on Social Media) project, sponsored by the Catalan International Institute for Peace.
