Ignacio Ibarra

My name is Ignacio Ibarra, I am currently doing my Masters in Accountancy at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I'm originally from Reynosa, Mexico and came to the United States when I was 8 years old. I graduated from Sharyland High School, and went to the University of Texas Pan-American. I was involved with student organizations such as Accounting Society as an active member and both a fundraiser manager and finance chair with the Association of Latino Professionals for America. I am working with the university as both an orientation leader and mentor.

I had the opportunity of traveling to New Orleans, also Orlando, Florida and gone on road trips from San Antonio to Houston and Austin. I have even gone to Montreal, Canada for a few days.

I do enjoy working out, I played sports since middle school, such as soccer, tennis and baseball. I was in cross country and track since then, and still run every now and then.
