French Ignition

The best way to learn a language is through conversation. This is exactly what we aim to provide you with: the opportunity to chat in French with other people and in a relaxed atmosphere.

The format is very simple: We meet in a very relaxed atmosphere. A french native speaker will organise you into smaller groups (3 or 4 people) and give out a quick stimulus to open conversation. This is only to start people off but from there, any kind of conversation can develop. You get a lot of help (if needed) from other people in your group and, at any time, from the French speaker who will join in the various groups.
As for the price, there is a monthly fee of £17.50 which gives you access to any group and as many as you want. Of course, you can try the first one for free before making any decision.
The meetings are as follows:
- Mondays, 14h to 15h, Dram, Woodlands Road. (This is a False beginners group)
- Wednesdays, 14h to 15h, Dram, Woodlands Road.
- Wednesdays, 19h to 20h, Waxy O'Connor, city centre.
- Thursdays, 14h to 15h, Dram, Woodlands Road.
- Thursdays, 19h to 20h, Beanscene, Shawlands, Skirving street.

At the moment, we are only operating in Glasgow but we are looking forward to opening new venues everywhere in the very near future. So, let us know if you'd like one near you.
