With more than 25 years of experience across 140 countries, I work as a global strategist, senior evaluator, university professor, and best-selling author — connecting people, ideas, and institutions toward a sustainable future.
Throughout my career, I had the honor of serving with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) — awarded the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize — and of working with some of the world’s most influential institutions, including the World Bank, IMF, IFAD, IDB, WTO, FAO, UNDP, and the New Development Bank (NDB). This journey has allowed me to combine technical expertise with strategic vision, bridging governments, the private sector, academia, and civil society around transformative solutions.
My work spans topics ranging from rural transformation and food systems to ESG strategy, public policy evaluation, and sustainable development innovation — always with a focus on scalable results and real impact.
I am the founder of IC Beyond, a platform that supports professionals and leaders in building international careers and purpose-driven businesses. I also serve as a professor, certified mentor, speaker, and educator on subjects such as evaluation, sustainable finance, humanitarian assistance, circular economy, international cooperation, and the future of work.
As a natural communicator, I have delivered trainings and conferences in five languages — Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian, and French — always with the mission of making knowledge accessible and inspiring the next generation of changemakers.
