Kate Riesen has been experienced in Brand Management and Internet Marketing for over 5 years. Throughout college, Kate managed promotional product launches for brands such as Newcastle Brown Ale, Stride, Goody, Revlon, Vitamin Water, Super Bowl XLI, Quiznos, and more.
In 2003, she was hired by Walt Disney World on a Management Internship College Program. Kate shadowed management in EPCOT and executed VIP services to clients with special needs. She graduated from Disney University in 2003.
After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Interpersonal/Organizational Communications in 2008, Kate managed the branding for Anheuser Busch in Portland.
She became Google AdWords Certified through NetBiz Inc, an Internet Marketing Agency located in Tualatin, Oregon. Kate held the position of Senior Internet Marketing Strategist at NetBiz from August 2009 to August 2011. Kate executed strategies which resulted in maximum online exposure for small to mid-size business clients through Facebook, Social Media Management, Google, Video Optimization, Brand Management and more.
August 2011, Kate and Scott Riesen welcomed their first daughter, Tessa, into the world.
In 2012, Kate became Bing Ads Certified and a Creative Strategist with Yahoo! Inc. The Search Creative Development team is part of Yahoo! Sales. Creative Strategists are specialists when it comes to search marketing, specifically as it relates to identifying relevant keywords, creating and testing effective ad copy, selecting appropriate landing pages, structuring advertisers’ accounts to maximize their return on investment and pushing the limits of how the medium can be used to achieve marketing success. Creative Strategists are senior individual contributors who act as a key strategic resource for Yahoo!’s most valuable advertisers in planning and implementing their search marketing campaigns as well as ensuring an overall positive experience with the Yahoo Bing Network.
