Ihab Anwar

Dr. Ihab Anwar works in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital. Dr. Anwar says that King Faisal is the busiest and largest hospital in the Middle East and that he is happy to be a part of such an important institution in the region. The hospital has become a beacon of medical research as well, due to its link with the Al Faisal University. King Faisal has an extensive research wing dedicated to graduate training and schooling. Dr. Anwar has practiced and taught surgery all over the world, including in Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. He says his travel experience complements his experience in the operating room.

Dr. Ihab Anwar has worked for over thirty years as a surgeon in Europe, the United States, and Saudi Arabia. He has recently been accepted as a member of the European Vascular Society, the Egyptian Society of Surgeons and the International Society of Surgeons, along with many other professional associations around the world. He is currently the Consultant Surgeon in Laparoscopic, General, and Breast Surgery at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
