The Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Pune. The Institute was established 1992 by Dr. Patangrao Kadam, Founder of Bharati Vidyapeeth. The institute is located in Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) campus in the city of Pune. Pune, popularly known as Oxford of the East, is located on Deccan Plateau, 560 mtrs. above sea level with an area of 700 sq.km. The city has pleasant weather and temperature ranges between minimum 100C to maximum 370 C.The Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Pune, is developed into an ideal center for Hotel Management Education. It imparts necessary knowledge and skills through various undergraduate programmes. The students learn about the essentials of food production, food and beverage services, house keeping and front office operations through theory as well as practice.
