After having taught in Sheffield for over 12 years I moved a little closer to home in 2017 and started teaching in Huddersfield in West Yorkshire where I taught at a high School in Huddersfield not far from home. I was the Head of Food & Nutrition. In 2025 I became head of Food & Nutrition at Darton Academy.

I am a passionate foodie, I worked as a chef for 7 years before coming into education. I am a passionate advocate for Ed Tech tools which enhance the learning of students and teaching of educators. I am a regular user and poster on social media belonging to a number of subject and technology PLNs.

In my spare time I love to run, cycle, play tennis, padel, badminton and I am an FA level 1 qualified football coach. I also love adventure in the outdoors with my family.
