Dentistry by Dr. Kaplansky, PLLC

I was born and grew up in Russia. In 1993, after completion of my studies at the Novosibirsk Medical Academy and receiving my dental degree, I decided to continue my professional development in the United States. In 1995 I was accepted into the International Dentist program at the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. After graduating Cum Laude in 1998 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, I continued my formal training as a resident in the Advanced General Dentistry program at UB.

Since 1999, I’ve been practicing family dentistry with a special interest in orthodontics (braces) and dental implants as a dentist in Lockport, NY. In 2007 I moved my practice to a newly constructed, state-of-the-art building in Gasport that will allow us to continue our growth and provide this community with excellent dental care for years to come.

Professionally, I am a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the English District Dental Society, the Niagara County Dental Society, and Academy of GP orthodontics. I received prestigious fellowship awards from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2003 and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2008.

I love dentistry and enjoy very much what I do as a dentist in Lockport, NY. When I’m not in the office, I like spending time with my family, hunting, and scuba diving.

My wife Irina and I have been married since 1995, and we enjoy living in Western New York with our son Sam and daughter Katie.
