Isaac Smith

Hello. My name is Isaac. I was born on December 19th 1989. Born and raised in the city of Columbia, South Carolina. I currently reside here attending the University of South Carolina as a Tourism Management major. I started writing poetry after being diagnosed with severe depression. I was aware that I struggled with a mental illness but I could not find a way to express what I was going through and how I was really feeling. So I decided to start writing poetry as a leadway to express myself. I write poetry that is meant to be encouraging, joyful and uplifting. Most of poetry that I write is not just for entertainment. I want my poetry to be used as encouragement for people who are feeling any sort of hurt and pain and needs something to encourage and uplift them.Most of the poetry that I write should touch others in such a way they can be inspired. I found a new love for poetry and now I would like for other to find love and have the same passion for my poetry as well.
