Hey, my name’s Alain, but I go by my second name: Iker. A couple basic facts to know about me are that I was born in Mexico and from there I’ve lived in several places. I moved when I was four to Panama, and I moved again when I was 14 to Peru. Now, I’ve graduated and am studying in Toronto. During my high school years, I had the opportunity to work on fascinating projects that allowed me to develop my interest in the creative field. I had the liberty to create a marketing campaign for a local NGO in Lima. Collaborating with other students, we made a photo exhibition highlighting social issues around our city. With a small team, I also produced and edited a short economics documentary film. Through these years, I found that creativity was what I was meant to do. Aside from the fact that I’ve been playing guitar and singing for more than five years, I knew that it was what I needed to do. For five months, I’ve been in a program that allows me to evolve my abilities in the creative sector and help me become a creative entrepreneur. While doing this, I have also been focusing on my own project. Embracing my latin life, I’ve been working on some music, following the footsteps of some of the biggest latin artists in the business today. I plan on releasing my own songs in an EP by the end of the year. I released my first song on Spotify in January, written and produced by me. With the help of my music and my studies in the creative field, I plan on successfully climbing my way to the top of the music industry business, whether it is as an artist or as a businessman
