Ivy R Kirchberg

LMS Administrator / Senior Executive Assistant in Orange, Connecticut

I grew up in the small rural town of Vicksburg, Michigan ... approximately 2 hours away from either Chicago or Detroit. I was born and raised in a loving home with four other siblings, all older than me (yes, I'm the baby). I attended christian schools most of my life - from elementary through college. I'm currently married to a wonderful man - Eric, and we have one grown son named Zachary. We're also the proud owners of two cats, Mittens & Boots.

Currently working for Kellogg Company at their world headquarters in Battle Creek, MI, I am actively seeking employment in southwestern-central Connecticut. We have family out there on my husband's side, and I am excited about the opportunity to spend time with them ... considering Eric has spent the entirety of our 22-year marriage tolerating MY family. (haha ... no, seriously. He's a saint.).

My professional interests revolve around the duties I'm currently performing which is administering a relational database that coincides with my two LMS platforms. I enjoy the level of detail involved in this type of activity, and am optimistic that I will find the right fit with the right company. As a fallback, however, I have extensive experience providing administrative support to high level executives and local government officials. I will never lose those skills that I have cultivated for over 20+ years in the workforce, and I pride myself knowing that my skillset is a portable commodity that I can bring to the table for any organization.

My hobbies are simple ... I enjoy puzzles, needlework, playing the piano (although I'm a bit rusty), and I'd like to learn how to paint with watercolors. I'm also a Boston Bruins fan, thanks to my husband who converted me to the sport many years ago. Go B's!!!

In closing, I'm reliable, detail-oriented, tenacious, and trustworthy. I'm easy to get along with, I enjoy working as a team player, and yet also thrive when presented with an opportunity to work autonomously with little oversight, if necessary. I'm humorous, sassy, and full of life. I look forward to a new and exciting chapter in my life as I relocate to Connecticut, and would welcome an invitation to learn more about you and your organization. Thank you!
