I am a graduate student passionate about doing my part to save the world. How do I intend to do my part, you ask? By driving environmental sustainability with community engagement, cultural sensitivity, science-backed policies and programs, and business acumen. In pursuit of that goal, I am now a graduate teaching assistant and a Master of Public Administration student in Environmental Science and Policy at SIPA and The Earth Institute of Columbia University.

My interests include:

-Environmental conflict resolution

-Food security

-Geographic information systems (GIS) and data science

-Monitoring and evaluation (M&E)

-Social impact innovation

-Sustainability management

-Wildlife conservation

With those interests in mind, I am seeking new career opportunities to begin after my May 2018 graduation. I would be delighted to hear from you if you are looking for someone like me to add value to your agency.

My academic and professional background includes anthropology, Spanish, nonprofit management, AmeriCorps service, human resources, human services, and program operations. My professional skills include project management, employee supervision, cross-sector partnership-building, public speaking, developing and leading training sessions, fundraising, social media management, event planning and coordination, volunteer coordination, tutoring, international fieldwork, research, and sales.

Outside of professional and academic pursuits, I love dancing, critters, and outdoor explorations. Please feel free to contact me with questions or suggestions about these interests as well as my professional and academic interests.
