Iliyas Yoosuf

Since the early 90's I have been in the business of wood-work, carpentry and boat building. Being one of the most experienced and trusted people of this skilful island of R.Alifushi, I am also the president of the oldest community group established in Maldives; 'Raa Alifushee Vadinge Jamihyaa'.

Also, Iliyas Binaa Carpentry, my own local business is well known amongst the boat builders of Maldives and often contracted to either build these boats, or supply parts and materials. Additionally, constructing homes and buildings, primarily in Alifushi are some of the few that I am involved with.

Last but not the least, some of my handiwork is also seen in a number of high-end resorts of this high class destination of Maldives which reflects my determination to my work.
