Illeanne Rukes

Illeanne is an international Human Resources executive with a 20-year record of success in both publicly traded and private equity corporations, including Fortune 50, in the United States, Europe and Latin America. She was most recently Chief Human Resources Officer of LNR Property LLC, a $1B diversified Commercial Real Estate investment, finance and management market leader with operations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. In this role, she had full-scope leadership of Human Resources, Office Management, Employee Communications and Community Service.

Prior to joining LNR, Illeanne served as Managing Partner of R&R Property Investments, a South Florida real estate investment firm. Earlier in her career, she contributed to the growth of PepsiCo’s international markets as VP of HR for the South America & Caribbean region of Pepsi Cola International, and as VP of HR for Frito Lay International’s business in Spain (Matutano). Illeanne began her career at Verizon Communications (GTE Corporation), where she held various HR management positions of increasing responsibility. She has consulted to a variety of public, private and non-profit organizations in the areas of organizational architecture, leadership, recruitment and selection, organization and management development, performance management and process improvement.

Illeanne holds an MBA and an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida, and a BS in Psychology from Florida State University with related coursework at Cornell University. She is SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources) certified, and is a graduate of the National Academy of Human Resources’ Chief Human Resources Officer Academy.

A native Spanish speaker, illeanne is fully bilingual in English/Spanish. She lives with her husband and three children in Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida.
