Ilmar Marques

Ilmar Ferreira is a talented software developer from Brazil. Born and raise in Brasilia, Brazil capital, he started his career as a junior programmer at Brazil Central Bank in 2007 while still studying Computer Science at UnB (Brasilia Federal University). Throughout the following years, he got interested in various areas including creating an exchange for Bitcoin in Brazil, BBMarket – Brazil Bitcoin Market, in 2011. Always starving for new knowledge he also joined Forex Market research group collaboration in 2012 which aimed to analyze the USD/EUR pair. Not a lot of years after, he decided to join the MSc. Predictive Analytics program at DePaul University, in 2014. At the same time he also co-founded NCanais, a company sited in Brasilia – Brazil, which now is a good knowledge application case of the Data Science valuable techniques learnt in the master program.
