Ilmira Pazailova

I’m Ilmira Pazailova, a Business Administration student specializing in Accounting at the University at Buffalo, and a recent graduate of SUNY Erie Community College with an A.S. in Business Administration – Accounting. Originally from Ukraine, where I studied Social Science and worked as a social worker, I moved to the United States alone in 2022, an experience that strengthened my resilience, independence, and commitment to building a meaningful career.

Today, I work as an Accounting Intern, gaining hands-on experience in financial processing, accuracy, confidentiality, and workflow improvement—skills that have earned me praise from my supervisors for my professionalism, adaptability, and strong work ethic.

I am passionate about the intersection of technology, business, and innovation, and I view accounting not just as numbers but as a foundation of trust, clarity, and ethical responsibility in any organization.

My goal is to continue developing my expertise, pursue advanced degrees in accounting, and contribute to impactful, technology-driven financial environments.

Outside of academics and work, I enjoy traveling, swimming, and learning about new advancements in technology and business.
