Dominque was born in Augusta, GA on December 31, 1987. She suffered her first loss at age 5 when her mother passed away. Dominque and her siblings moved to Oxon Hill, MD with their grandparents who encouraged Dominque to join church. In no time, she started singing in the church choir, performing in plays, and miming at different events. Dominque loved to sing and write as a child, so at the age of 7 she took her love for singing and writing to another level. Her imagination was so vivid that she sat in her room for hours writing love songs and stories. At the age of 9, she joined Children's Gospel Choir of America (now known as Youth and Praise) and toured Europe, performed at Taste of DC, and sang on-air for Christmas plays as well as other special events.

In middle school, Dominque joined the dance team and performed in front of her peers. She even wrote a rap and recited it at a school presentation. Due to her love for performing, she started a dance group. Once she got the hang of writing and recording her own songs she decided to start Tru Image, an all girl group. She searched for other passionate performers and they became a trio in hopes of becoming the next Destiny's Child. Tru Image performed at Oxon Hill High School, a talent showcase and even recorded an EP. Dominque decided to remove herself from the group due to creative differences. She continued styling hair as well as writing and never gave up on her dream.

In 2007, Dominque began demoing songs for Treasure "Big Trez" at Nightflight Studios after he was impressed with her ability to take direction while recording. Soon after, she met Jazz from Dru Hill and performed at Club 347 in Baltimore, MD. She began modeling the next year. 2009-2014 were rough years for Dominque as she had been dealt so much adversity that she went through depression. She began drinking and smoking heavy and even though she's had great moments like becoming a mother, she suffered in silence from domestic violence.

Through all of the misfortune, she never gave up on music. In November 2014, Dominque wrote and recorded "FIRE" with just her Macbook and earphones. "FIRE" got the songs producer's (@Falloutbeatz) attention and landed her a spot on his Soundclick website, which has helped her gain exposure. She continues to make music and stresses that she is not giving up or starting over, only picking up from where she left off.
