I am a displaced international journalist on the constant prowl for exciting stories and fresh opportunities. I’m an experienced freelance reporter and an independent digital storyteller as well as an occasional communications consultant. Previously, I was also a broadcast news producer and a live television director.

My coverage areas range from local to international journalism and I am flexible on beats. I’m curious about virtually anything but am particularly interested in reporting on transportation & travel, tech innovation & education. I'm skilled in multimedia storytelling through visual and auditory mediums. Likewise, I have extensive proficiency in utilizing social media as a valuable tool for audience engagement and retention.

I am a proud member of the Society of Professional Journalists (Deadline Club [NYC], New Jersey), Overseas Press Club and Investigative Reporters and Editors. I am also one of the founding leaders of the New Jersey Chapter of the Online News Association.

I am often found traveling around the U.S. and across the world. In between working in journalism, I spend my days working as an aircraft dispatcher for an airline. Likewise I also perform consulting for grassroots organizing efforts in various capacities.
