Everyone has a dream. That dream may be to open your own business, sail around the world, or to grow old together with a loved one. I am no different.

My dream is to attain that elusive profound happiness we hear talked about so often. Happiness is a fickle thing, taking many forms and derived from many sources. My happiness comes from doing good for others, making a positive contribution to the universe and creating beauty and joy. As such, I would love to land that perfect job in social media marketing, take creative control in my life and future, and have a genuine involvement in making lives better.

Where I differ from most people however, is that I am no longer content with sitting back and hoping that my dreams come true all by themselves. I've tried the waiting and wishing approach for many years, but nothing other than positive action and sheer determination will drive you towards them.

Every morning, standing in front of the mirror, I ask myself: "what would you do if you weren't afraid?". I may never conquer all my fears in this life, but the one fear I am now laying to rest is the fear of trying.

This is me, taking a step in the right direction.
