Maritime Transport Engineer graduated from the International Maritime University of Panama (UMIP), with a strong academic background that includes several master’s degrees and specializations in business administration, port management, logistics, supply chain, and higher education. Notably, she holds a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis on International Business and Marketing, earned with honors (Summa Cum Laude) from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua, complemented by studies at Universidad del Istmo, the University of Texas at Arlington, and currently pursuing a Master’s in Project Management at La Salle – Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, Spain.

She possesses certifications and additional training in key areas for her professional development, such as preparation for the PMP® certification, internal auditing in ISO 9001:2015, BASC and ISPS, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. She has also completed courses in effective negotiation, positive psychology, project management fundamentals, and an executive program in sustainability awarded by the University of St. Gallen. These credentials reflect her commitment to excellence, innovation, and strategic management with a sustainable focus.

With over 12 years of experience in the port, maritime, and logistics industry, she currently works at SSA Marine, coordinating technical and standardization projects that integrate operations, engineering, and strategic management to drive sustainable improvements.

She has served as a university professor and president of the Kiwanis Las Perlas Club, leading impactful social volunteer initiatives. Additionally, she actively participates in networks such as WISTA Panama, Women in Supply Chain, and Women in Tech®, promoting female leadership.
