In only twenty-four years of life, I have lived, felt, and experienced more than most people I know ever will. Through the good and bad moments, I have always kept a smile on my face. Happiness is a choice.

I am not afraid. I have never been embarrassed of my truth, nor have I been embarrassed of my intelligence. I have never cared much for the teeny-bopper trends, because I make my own. I know what I want, who I want to be around, and who I want to be.

I will live my life for me—not a life based on the opinions of others. The world will always have an opinion, but the world won't make me happy. Marilyn Monroe said, "If I'd observed all the rules, I would have never gotten anywhere."

Sometimes, I forget to look around. I am amazed at how much I miss out on by rushing. I often remind myself to breathe.

I know there is so much more to people than they even realize about themselves. Maybe that's why I am so passionate about theatre. As an actress, I have the power to deliver ideas and emotions by mirroring YOU. I have the power to inspire, to provoke, to change YOU. My purpose is to recreate your favorite memory, to make real all of your fantasies, to be all that you are most scared of, to make you laugh, make you cry, make you think. My purpose is to expose the truth behind everything you do. Anton Checkov said, "Man only becomes better when you make him see what he is like, and that is our job as actors."

Most people think all actors must be good liars, but on the contrary, all good actors MUST be honest in order to make you believe. To act is to be real.

Music is my therapy. My instruments are my voice, my legs, my mind. Doctors have diagnosed me as weak, but my mind continues to battle my body. My mind usually wins.

If I cry, I want to cry passionately. If I laugh, I want to laugh passionately. If I love, I will love passionately. It's simple. It's beautiful.
