Imad is an architectural professional with over 30 years of experience in sport architecture, educational, residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects, spanning over Europe, North America, Australia and the Middle East.
During his tenure at Emaar, he managed large teams of professionals to successfully complete World class residential communities within aggressive timeframes. He remarkably excelled in people management, architectural design, master planning & feasibility studies. Some of his designs were among the best-selling in Dubai. His leadership along with his technical skills have positioned him to establish & lead the low-rise residential developments in Dubai.
His portfolio includes the iconic Al Nasr stadium design in Dubai, nominated for Versailles Architecture & Design Award, the expansion of Rashid stadium for the Asian cup 2019, the design of Maktoum stadium, & Shabab AlAhli Stadium.
He spoke & was a panelist in conferences including the Middle East Sports Innovation Summit 2021, the World Stadium Congress, Amsterdam, 2018 & the Stadium Congress, Doha, 2017. Besides, he spoke on Photovoltaic applications in architecture in the 5 Big Show, Dubai, 2018, and in two conferences at the Montreal Chambre of Commerce & Toronto Chamber of Commerce, Canada, 2011.
He orchestrated workshops & conferences that lead to establishing the Dubai Thermal Insulation system.
Imad was also elected for several Architectural Boards in Jordan & UAE in addition to boards in Ontario, Canada, & received “Dubai Excellence Award” recognition in 1999.
He has also lectured at the school of architecture, University of Jordan, and mentored students at Humber College in Canada. Moreover, he participated as a jury member at the schools of architecture in several universities including the University of Jordan, Al Balqa Applied University, Jordan & Ajman University, UAE.
