Based in Beirut, Lebanon, Imad Jomaa founded business conglomerate JGroup in 2003. He launched the company shortly after obtaining his master’s degree in financial economics and bachelor’s degrees in economics and chemistry from the American University of Beirut. In the 17 years since establishing JGroup, Imad Jomaa has built a portfolio of subsidiaries operating throughout the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and North America. Thanks to his unique vision for JGroup, its portfolio has grown to include companies in a wide range of industries, including media and advertising, technology, sports, food and beverage, real estate development and contracting, pharmaceuticals, production, printing, and others.

At JGroup, Imad Jomaa and his team work closely with their subsidiaries to help them develop innovative solutions and enhance the quality of their services. This commitment has driven the group’s continued growth over time. Today, JGroup is home tobrands like Promofix, Promomedia, AL Media, Contour, Digital Venture, Digimotive, Foxpush, Wahoo, Assada Production, PromoFoods, PromoChem, JCC, PromoProperties, PromoEats, Sports Ville, Fortress Strategies, Fame FM, and Hawacom TV. Besides sector-specific investments, JGroup has also developed a Meta Demand Side Platform (MDSP) and a Date Management Platform (DMP) in house to support their customers in capitalizing on high-value engagement.

As head of JGroup, Imad Jomaa has maintained his commitment to more than the organization’s portfolio of companies. He is also devoted to giving back to the communities. Community-driven initiatives are led by his subsidiaries through the Imad Jomaa Foundation. This non-government organization promotes various charitable initiatives.

Throughout his career, Imad Jomaa has made several investments outside of JGroup. Most notably, through Promoproperties, he invested in the global media organization, Shazam and in the New York City real estate development and construction industries. One of his prominent projects is contributing to the financing of two towers in Manhattan.
