Starting out as a VERY young entrepreneur, I was quite nervous & felt smaller than Nemo (who's only got one fin..) in a BIG pond. The word was scary & I was confused. When I was only 17 years old, I got accepted at the University of the Arts- London College of Fashion. So at that time I thought I had it all figured out. I was going to study Fashion Illustration... BUT I really just wanted to study that because I loved fashion (and I could tell people that I studied in London... I'm such a weird girl!) and I didn't care what I did after my studies, as long as it meant, that I could tell people about fashion, teach them about it & help them look fahionable for all my days to come... and go on holidays.. and bake cakes.. I love doing that too, but hey, who doesn't!

Unfortunately (for the college, obviously) I never made it to London, because... well I wish I could lie, your probably going to think less of me.. but because I met my (future... yup, we're not even engaged..) husband! And London really just is a crappy, cold & gray place.. (I do like the country side though!) So, after searching for jobs as a "fashion anything" I realised that South Africa really wasn't the best place to become a fashion queen. I then decided ( after having a dream about it! Talk about meant-to-be!) of becoming an Image Consultant. Now, I'm helping South Africa become more trendy & up-to-date with fashion.

Now I can proudly say that I'm the owner of Image Consulting by Amone. I've worked with numerous famous faces, internationaly owned companies (HP, the computer copany, was actually my very first job!) and have held workshops for more than 200 ladies at a time.
