Imani Finley

I am an ambitious individual eager to explore, create and present thrilling environments for the fulfillment of others worldwide. I am proficient in the Spanish language and daily strengthening my skills in the Portuguese language. I recently received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Minor in Management & Organization from Spelman College in May 2013. Throughout my academic career I held numerous internships and employment opportunities that allowed me to explore the field of Event Planning & Marketing.

Based on my previous experiences I am equipped with the skills necessary to perform extraordinary event and office operations, on-site event management and problem solving. These skills include but are not limited to creating event function sheets, production budgets, spreadsheets, formulating fresh marketing ideas, and organizing all event logistics. I am currently searching for opportunities that will grant me the experience to perfect my craft and acquire more knowledge of the events & marketing field.

I am an aspiring Event Coordinator for the Sports & Entertainment Industry. I hold a strong interest in international travel, and one-day plan to pursue a career with the Olympic Games performing event management and marketing. I desire to produce events that will bring awareness of the athletic talents of countries worldwide. As well, I find it of great importance to be globally conscience while focusing specifically on the international sports industry. My professional goal is to positively encourage sport competitions in order to discover and reveal the skills and abilities of individuals across the world. During my collegiate career I had the opportunity of traveling abroad to Salvador, Bahia Brazil where I witnessed the greatness and potential of children from the Brazilian culture. This experience sparked my passion for international relations and my pursuit towards pursuing a career with the Olympic Games. This career path will allow me to correlate entertainment event coordinating and marketing with international sports competitions.
