Imani Dunning

I am interested in reaching youth and young adults ages 12-25. I am also interested in creating the environment they’ll need to cultivate and define their own dreams. My experience with the arts spans across my entire life. As an adult, I have come to understand that there is nothing else in the world like the arts. There is nothing else that can seem to transcend time and space. It instantly transports the audience seemingly to the very place they have always wanted to be. Everyone wants to be stress-free and everyone wants to escape. Music, theater, dance, singing, poetry, and everything else performance based fulfills that need. Whether it was singing, making music, dancing, painting, drawing, acting, or just falling more in love with the arts every day, I was fully immersed in it all. I relish the opportunity to change lives through the arts! It is an honor.
