About Me
Hello everyone,
My name is Imani McCoy, and I am proud to serve as the City Connects Coordinator at Alice B. Beal Elementary School. As a Springfield native, I attended our local public schools before earning my undergraduate degree from American International College and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Springfield College.
Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for baking, reading, and spending quality time with my loved ones. Over the past five years, being part of the Beal community has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
In my role as City Connects Coordinator, my primary goal is to ensure that every student has access to the resources they need to thrive both academically and in terms of their overall well-being. I collaborate closely with our School Adjustment Counselor to provide comprehensive in-school support for our students.
