Dj Ben G began Deejaying in 1980 Spinning Salsa, Freestyle, HipHop, Disco, and his First Love House Music. Since then he has appeared at The Copa, La Maganette, Webster Hall, Rythm Supper Club, Le Bar Bat, Casa Borinquen, The Strata Nova, Puerto Rican, Cuban and Dominican day Parades in Ny/Nj. He has done sound for many of New York's hottest Salsa Bands, like Imagen, Orchesta Broadway, Son Boricua, Los Hermanos Moreno, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, just to mention a few. Dj BenG's influences are many which range from, Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, Todd Terry, Little Louie Vega, "El Profesor" Joe Torres, Nicky Marrero, just to name a few. Recently Dj Ben G has been working on a Project that is close to his heart. Here he expresses his love for house music, and you can definitely hear the influences he's had in his years of spinning. In this labor of love, he tends to incorporate some legendary sounds, that will take you back into time, together with soulful rythms and a flavour that is very much today.
