Imee Chellevold (formerly Imee Tagaca)

As a physics student, I loved quantum mechanics and I learned about one of its real world applications: semiconductors. Though a PhD sounded like the next step in my path, I chased money instead and went into the corporate world.

Working in the industry, I was able to travel extensively, learn about cultures and relocate to a different country. My parents are happy that I exceeded their expectations. However, there was still something missing in my life.

I decided to go back to basics--just ensuring food, clothing and shelter for me and my family (hello, homecooking, thrift stores and old houses). I quit my job to explore being an entrepreneur and investor; to investigate what my interests and capabilities will produce. Whether I end up as a hero or a villain, I want to live an interesting life!
