Impactful Sentiments
Movement Catalyst in Tempe, Arizona
Ignaz Semmelweis had an idea about disease transmission that required doctors and health practionners to take responsibility for spreading bacteria. The medical community was not ready to hear what he had to say, he went crazy trying to explain it was something we couldn't see making people sick. He was ousted from the medical community and institutionalized. Ironically he died from an infection.
We can take an important lesson from his life; the thing we cannot see could be making us sick and until we all take responsibility for cleaning up our planet, nothing will change.
In order to change the world, it is my mission to encourage others with ideas to develop their knowledge and strategic skills so that their ideas can be implemented and sustainable change can be adopted. It is my hope that one day we will not need 'sustainability' because long term thinking, balancing profits with the priorities of our people and planet, will become the new norm.
Join me on Thursday, February 7th at 5:00 PM in the Adelphi II community room for a casual rage party where we will come up with our own impactful sentiments to change the world.
