Imran Usmani

Dr. Muhammad Imran Ashraf Usmani is a renowned Islamic scholar specializing in Islamic finance and jurisprudence. He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic finance, an L.L.B., and is a graduate of Jamia Darul-Uloom, Karachi, where he has been teaching Fiqh since 1990. Dr. Usmani serves as Group Head and Vice Chairman of the Shariah Supervisory Board at Meezan Bank and leads Usmani & Co., offering Islamic finance consultancy globally. He also advises the Government of Pakistan on Islamic banking initiatives.
