In Denial are a 5 piece Alternative rock/metal band formed in Wolverhampton September 2008 by drummer Wayne Davies and guitarist Paul Anthony Sippits.
Originally formed in mid 2000 under the name State of Mind, and then in 2006 Co-Founding a band called Primer with both members then departing 2 years later to form what we have today, an ass kicking in your face alternative rock band.
Over the years since their formation they have seen a few line up changes. Up until January 2013 guitarist Paul was doing both guitar and lead vocal duties which was when Carl Thomason joined the band as permanent lead vocalist and most recently former Fated Elegy members Michael Pritchard (guitar) and Anthony Collins (bass).
They are now going from strength to strength with an hard hitting sound but with great and catchy melodies and with great performance, positive feedback and good reviews from their debut gig at Ye Olde Foundry in Dudley to their current shows some of which they've headlined on numerous occasions and still are, and to supporting Swedish band Eternal Fear on 2 shows on their mini UK tour, In Denial are catching the attention of people worldwide, with radio airplay ranging from the USA to Australia to their home country of the UK, as well as getting a following of locals nearby.
With their debut ep now available, which has also had great reviews and positive feedback and 2 singles released off it Enemy and crowd favourite Never Ending, In Denial are moving forward in more ways than they quite possibly imagined. October sees the recording of their 2nd EP and the first to feature new vocalist Carl, guitarist Michael and bassist Anthony Collins.
