Independent Film Council (IFC) is a collegium of independent filmmakers across West Bengal, who have teamed up to build a data bank for independent short & alternative films being made for archival and screening purposes.

It also aimed to mend ways to build a healthy habit for independent short & alternative filmsamong the common viewers.
