Independent Journalist Murray Waas has reported and written about national security, foreign policy, and politics for more than two decades, most recently as: Investigations Editor for Vice, as an investigative correspondent for Reuters, and staff writer for National Journal.

Murray Waas has also published articles for the New Yorker, the Atlantic, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the Boston Globe, Reuters, and Associated Press.

Murray Waas has also been a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, in the category of national reporting: a winner of the Barlett & Steele Business Investigative Prize; for a series of articles for Reuters about the health insurance industry; and winner of the Goldsmith Prize.
