Dexter Davis

I'm the CEO of D Street Media Group, an independent production/distribution and music publishing company headquartered in New York City with offices in Berlin, Buenos Aires and Cape Town, South Africa. My first feature 'The Reception,' was screened at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2005 and distributed by Strand Releasing.

I've since executive produced seven other award winning domestic and international films with eight new films going into production in 2015/16. Now playing in the Hollywood arena we're taking the company to the next level. Our next production, 'The Blue Mauritius' is our biggest production to date and very exciting. I was the first to broker a first- of -its kind co-marketing deal with Volkswagen AG to support the distribution efforts of international films in North America.

Having lived and worked in Paris, Rome, London, Berlin and Buenos Aires. I received a great education on the international business of filmed entertainment and have applied what I learned into building a successful international media company. Very open to establishing new partnerships to expand in the US and around the world.

In 2014 was honored to have been asked to executive produce the documentary about the creation of Ghana's National Museum on Slavery and Freedom with world renowned architect David Adjaye and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Kofi Annan. http://gnmosaf.org/ ...
