Indra Narayan Jha

Indra Narayan Jha (born 3 March 1965) is an Indian environmental governance specialist, public health expert, and development-sector strategist known for more than three decades of work in pollution control, environmental policy, climate resilience, and community-centred public health systems. He has played a key role in shaping environmental regulation in Bihar and has collaborated extensively with national and international agencies, including UNICEF, GAIN, USAID, and Pure Earth (USA).

Jha currently serves as the Managing Director of the Institute of Environment & Eco Development (IEED), Patna, where he focuses on environmental monitoring, sustainable livelihood systems, industrial compliance frameworks, and policy-driven environmental governance.
