These types of attacks have caused quite a stir inthe IT world. There are a lot of theories out there about why these hackers doit, and why they target certain companies and industries. It seems that forsome companies, their loss prevention measures were not high enough. It's ashame that these businesses didn't do more to protect themselves, but in theend, their data was compromised, and their business was put at risk.
