My name is Imhotep Yakub aka INFINITARCHITECT, I was born in 1975 and grew up during the golden age of Hip Hop. I started making beats in the late 1990’s. I began my music production business using a 4-track tape recorder, Yamaha keyboard and Roland drum machine. The style of music that I produce is very melodic, complex, exotic and innovative. I’m inspired by all types of music whether it's Hip-Hop, Reggae, Electronic, Dance, Soul, Jazz, Rock and more. I’m a sampler but I also love creating my own samples to come up with my own unique sounds. I’m based in the Washington, DC area but originally from Pittsburgh, PA.
