Iniziomedia was born in 1998 with the mission of creating all sorts of audiovisual works in advertising, motion pictures and television.

We work in all formats, from 35 and 16mm film to HD, Digital Betacam and HDV. For image and sound post-production works Iniziomedia has 12 editing room that can create anything you may need from video editing to FX, image composition, manipulation and sound mixing. Iniziomedia has done major work for major in major advertising campaigns, motion picture, television, game shows, sitcoms, talk-shows, music videos, musical events for the Internet and corporate videos.

We also have worked in new media projects such as films created for the web. With a multifaceted production structure this company can produce everything, from a report for the evening news to the major multimedia live event. We produce every year hundreds of hours for every Portuguese television channel. We produced for RTP the Portuguese version of the BBC format "Great Britons". It was a television event that made us make an advertising campaign, 10 documentaries, several live shows and a website. "Sabores Mediterrânicos" was publicity campaign that consisted of 27 films. This campaign was a commission from Pingo Doce one of the largest supermarket chains in Portugal.

Another great example of the diversity of our work is the made for TV movie "Pulsação Zero", an action film like it has never been done in Portugal. This movie was broadcast with great success in the SIC network. These are just some examples of the different layers of work Iniziomedia can accomplish. Our company was chosen by the American director Mark Haefeli to edit the EPK for the promotion of Paul McCartney's European and north-american MACCA04 tour.

Iniziomedia has a staff of 75 that range from writers, journalists, graphic designers, directors, producers, storyboard artists, editors, sound mixers, digital artists for image compositing and fx, camera and sound operators to directors of photography.
