His array of hobbies is extensive and diverse. He is an avid cyclist, runner, and swimmer and regularly participates in CrossFit workouts. His love for travel and skiing matches his enthusiasm for 80s music, EDM, and classic movies from the same era. He is also a keen reader interested in military history and fantasy football. On the athletic front, he has an impressive history in rugby, having played at both high school and college levels. His endurance and dedication are evident in his completion of challenging events like The Vineman Ironman, the Vineman Half Ironman, the Hawaiian Half Ironman, and marathons in San Francisco, Avenue of the Giants, and New York City.

With a career spanning over 30 years in technology banking on the West Coast, he brings a depth of expertise and experience. He has honed his strategic and financial planning and negotiation skills and has a thorough knowledge of M&A operations. His professional focus has predominantly been M&A transactions in the software and internet technology industries. Embodying the spirit of an entrepreneur, he manages his own M&A boutique, mirroring the entrepreneurial drive of many of his clients.

He is driven by the challenge of achieving successful outcomes for his clients, fully understanding the dedication and hard work required to grow a successful business. His career has seen him in roles at notable firms such as Robertson Stephens, Morgan Stanley, Piper Jaffray, Lehman Brothers, Perella Weinberg, and Moelis & Company. Additionally, he is a proud father to two children, Miles and Sutton.

His firm, Western Hills Partners, derives its name from the scenic foothills of the mountains along the Peninsula in the Bay Area. His home office offers a breathtaking view of the hills that loom over Silicon Valley, a view he often admires during his cycling and hiking adventures in his free time.
