I'm the founder of West Virginia Illustrated, a successful news-media outlet for the West Virginia University Mountaineers. I'm also a successful and profitable retailer - creating, operating, and selling two retail businesses.

I love to sell and have sold everything except cars and homes. I passed the General Securities exam (Series 7) at age 23 and went on to become a successful stock broker. Shortly after, I fell in love with Macs and worked for two startups dedicated to Mac computing. I learned business development by navigating small workgroups within Fortune 500 companies - building great relationships along the way.

I grew up in Charleston, West Virginia. Since, I have lived on an island, in South Florida, and New York City. I met my wife at our 10 year high school reunion, and together we have two wonderful boys. I am a professional sports photographer, St. Louis Cardinals fan, and former paper boy.
