Instinctive Parent

When I had my first child, it seemed natural to me to care for my son as kindly and instinctively as possible. Wearing him to keep him close, cloth diapering to reduce environmental impact, using nature’s soothing herbs to care for his skin- these all seemed logical to me. What was frustrating, was the lack of readily available resources to help me with my mothering goals. The majority of items I wanted or needed had to be procured online and denied me the ability to experience them with my senses before purchase. What I would have given to have a retail store stocked with products that cater to a natural style of parenting. And so Instinctive Parent was “born.” With the pending birth of my second child, I quit my day job and began to bring my dream to reality.

My goal is to bring you a collection of products that will enhance the bond between you and your child, all the while supporting a healthy relationship with our earth. I strive to work with ethical companies while bringing quality products that help you along your parenting journey.
