A girl who believes that she's living in the world of possibilities. Intan is a fourth year medical student, born in Jakarta 21 years ago. Intan got so interested in health issues, especially public health and HIV/AIDS prevention. When she was in the first and second year, she joined an organization named "Jaringan Muda Peduli HIV/AIDS" in her unversity. She became one of the counselor for high school students, telling them about HIV/AIDS and how to prevent it.
Another thing that makes her interested is human resources. She joined "Senat Mahasiswa Kedokteran Umum" and being one of the member of community development's division. She also interested to meet medical students worldwide, so she became one of the member of SECO (Student Exchange Committee) of MMSA UMY.
Intan has attended a number of national meetings held by CIMSA (Center for Indonesian Medical Students' Activities) as a delegate, and traveled around Indonesia to attend those meetings. She also selected as one of the delegates from Indonesia to attend the Asia Pacific Regional Meeting 2013 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In APRM 2013, she got her licence as an IFMSA (International Federation of Medical Students' Associations) trainer and being a trainer in several meetings. She also being one of the National Team of Officials in CIMSA, as an Alumni Director period 2014-2015.
Intan got so curious about health system in other country, especially in Europe. That's one of the reasons why she attended medical research exchange in Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Poland at 2014 and being professor's assistant there. And for the upcoming event, she'll go for a clinical exchange in Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nancy, France and being the doctor's assistant to assist surgeries.
Beside her study, Intan learned several languages such as Japanese, Chinese, and French. Intan believes that positive thoughts, generates positive feelings and attract positive life experiences. Her favorite quote is "Dream. Believe. Make it happen."
