I am an aspiring software engineer with more than 4 years of experience in all facets of it. I have worked as a software tester at an American software company here at Bangladesh called Therap Services, LLC and my primary responsibility was to create test acceleration tools in Java, Javascript and with tools such as Selenium. The project management team of the company felt that my programming potentials were under utilized and that is the reason why I was given the opportunity to work as a software developer. I had the esteemed opportunity to work with enterprise level application development platform such as JEE and technologies such as Spring, SQL Map, gigaspaces, teracotta dso and many more. Very soon I was called upon by yet another American company called Vantage Communications to aid their testing team in order to create a test automation harness. Since I had experience in both testing and development, I was hired as a test automation engineer. Here I had a marvelous and quite a revolutionary experience because I had to work on something that no one else was working on anywhere else in the world. I had the task of automating a web application where the UI was made using FLEX. FLEX UI automation is something that is not ventured into that much. FLEX was just the beginning of the challenge. Since the application that was being developed here was a call center application, I had to deal with calls as well. Therefore I also had to create simulators in order to simulate the calls in the application. Finally the major obstacle was to integrate different entities into a test harness or a test suite. I had the opportunity to do all that and that too very successfully. I also had to learn ruby in order to create the test harness which was a treat. Soon afterwards I joined Exling LLC as a scrum master and a senior developer. My responsibilities included managing a scrum team and co-ordination of a QA team. I have done heavy work on J2EE, J2SE and J2ME and frameworks such as Spring and UI component libraries s uch as JSF, IceFaces and Rich Faces. Lately I have been a lead developer and project manager for a US client with projects that deal with .NET technologies such as WPF, Silverlight, ASP.NET, RadControl for ASP.NET AJAX, ASP.NET MVC. With all the knowledge that I gained so far through my experience in working in major companies, I can be an asset to any company and contribute to their future endeavors.
