Gene Peña

Born and raised in the Italian-American neighborhoods of Chicago's Near West Suburbs of Cicero/Berwyn, I developed a deep respect for hard-working, blue collar families while maintaining a cultural affiliation with my Filipino heritage.

I left home soon after high school, opting for the military than college, eventually spending 15 years in the military before being honorably discharged at the turn of the millennium.

I worked my way up to a prominent position leading a mortgage company on Oak St and Michigan Ave before the real estate implosion. After helping 3 others open their businesses, I started a business with my brother. I left that business shortly after meeting my future wife and starting and insurance practice in Carol Stream, IL.

2014 saw me seize an opportunity to move West to Nevada, where my experience served to help lead a sales team before another company's opportunities lured me away to become their sales director. 2015 was a whirlwind of personal events - threat of cancer, miscarriage, and the loss of my father.

Despite the trials of life, I strive to keep a positive attitude, love my wife, and train our Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer puppy.
