My name is Megan C. Smith and I am currently interning with Sharon Theison, the Director of Events and Coordinator of Leadership Springfield.

I will walk in Robert Morris University’s graduation ceremony Friday, May 31, 2013 and officially complete my degree in Business Administration July 3rd, 2013. The past two and a half years that have been dedicated to a Bachelors education at Robert Morris University-Springfield have been a great learning experience as well as an enjoyment to be a part of 3 collegiate sports teams: women’s basketball, softball, and volleyball. My final 10 week quarter has been a great indicator of the textbook knowledge I have retained by implementing them in the business atmosphere at The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.

Under Sharon Theison’s guidance and teachings I have been able to further my knowledge by assisting her with multiple tasks in relation to Leadership Springfield and the 28th Annual Small Business Awards. The business concepts and the intern experience I have embraced at the Chamber of Commerce have increased my understandings of the business realm and I am very appreciative.
