Company Background Info

International Federation of Accountants was formed in 1977. Since then it has served as the official standard for ethical accounting priniciples and practices. The organization manages to set and maintain coherent accounting standards through its four boards. These boards consist of: International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB), International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB), International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA), and International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB). The organization is comprised of 179 members spread throughout 130 countries all over the world. http://www.ifac.org
