Jeff Burrows

I am currently training as a Business Analysts in the Business Consulting Division of Virtusa.

I recently graduated from Isenberg School of Management with a B.B.A. in Finance, with a concentration in Risk Management and Corporate Finance. I worked as a Teaching Assistant for a Management course with a small team including other undergraduates, a PhD candidate, and the department head to exceed the expectations for 700+ students over the course of the year.

Last summer I interned with Heading Century and Convoy Financial Services in Shenzhen, China. I gained some valuable experience, networked with a lot of bright individuals from around SEA, UK, EUR, US, and furthered my advancement towards my current goal to learn Mandarin Chinese. Throughout my travels I plan on furthering my knowledge of international business and culture to apply towards creating a successful business environment for myself and others.

During my service with the United States Marine Corps, I received training in a variety of areas where I demonstrated my ability to work in and lead groups through difficult situations. On my first deployment in Iraq I was second in command to the Fire Team Leader and was a certified Combat Lifesaver which was utilized for humanitarian missions. By working on these missions I discovered my passion for helping others and I continuously work diligently towards improving the quality of the lives of others. During my second deployment for Afghanistan I was promoted to Team Leader of a group of three marines. During this deployment I developed leadership skills reflecting honor, courage, and integrity that are kept in the highest traditions of the Marines.

My experience as a customer service manager has given me strong interpersonal skills. The experience I received at Cafua Management provided me with the opportunity to utilize the skills acquired from my educational career.
